Why is Lucenec town the first one in the region to have such a project?
The Good Region has decided to use the possibility of utilizing a regional contribution intended to support the development of mobility and tourism in the Banska Bystrica Self-Governing Region. The public bicycle rental service for locals and visitors will facilitate the transfer in the city, as well as the transfer to suburban locations, for example, as part of the regular commuting to school or work. It will also make it easier and faster for tourists to move around the town and its surroundings in order to explore it. We are actively cooperating on the project with the Lucenec town, the Secondary Vocational School of Transport and Hotel Services in Lucenec town, the social enterprise Rozvojove sluzby BBSK Ltd. as well as with the regional Labor Agency. We create synergies at the local level to support eco-transport in the beautiful town of Lucenec.
